ABOUT US
The Shredders are a community dedicated to getting more kids on bikes in Greenville, SC. We share a love of riding, and strive to provide opportunities for young riders to become lifelong athletes. As a 501c3 non-profit, we coordinate coach training, plan trail work, and ensure that cost will not be an inhibiting factor for coach or athlete participation.
The teams that the Shredders support participate in the South Carolina NICA league, and include riders ranging from 6th-12th grade. They offer a variety of programing including GRiT, or Girls Riding Together, which promotes friendship, confidence, and fun amongst female athletes and coaches. Riders of all abilities are welcome to join, and the teams meet several times a week during the summer and fall to develop both on-the-bike skills and fitness.

OUR MISSION
Our goal as a team and league is to help kids develop strength of character, mind, and body through the lifelong sport of cycling. As they participate in practices and races, the kids will make friends, build confidence, gain strength, and have adventures that they will remember for a lifetime!
